An example of our innovative work is liquid silicate – also known as water glass – which can be used in many different contexts, industries, and for a wide range of purposes. For example, it can be used as a fire-retardant coating for windowpanes.

Water glass is also included in our products, such as our silicate glue, where we have replaced formaldehyde with a more environmentally friendly material.
The development and use of water glass have gradually led to several innovative products, such as surface treatments for concrete and pressure impregnation of wood.

As a silicate-based product, water glass is not harmful to the environment and degrades naturally.
We continue to develop and improve our products in our own laboratory, but we also work closely with universities, GTS institutes, and our customers in our quest to promote sustainability. We are always ready to participate in new and exciting projects.
