Our history
The Bollerup Jensen family founded their company in Tarm in 1935. Back then, the production consisted of soap and cleaning products made in the traditional way without undesired chemicals. Our company has always been rooted in old production methods, which over the years have been refined and optimized to keep up with the times and development.
In 1973, the company moved to new facilities in Ådum, where we are still located today. Since 1981, Bollerup Jensen has been Denmark’s only producer of water glass, a product with many applications.
In 2009 when Jysk Industri Holding took over the company, and since then we have strengthened our focus on innovation and the development of sustainable projects in close collaboration with other stakeholders. At Bollerup Jensen, we work actively on innovation projects to create a greener future.
Working for a cleaner future
At Bollerup Jensen, we work on developing new sustainable solutions for our customers. We do this by combining expertise from very different fields and in close cooperation with universities, GTS institutes, and other industry experts.
We develop and produce products in Denmark for a wide range of customers both domestically and internationally. What our customers have in common is an environmentally conscious mindset, where the products can be just as effective, but without the harmful chemicals. We deliver our silicate products to both private and business customers, and our materials are particularly popular in construction, manufacturing, and conservation due to their many applications.
Our goal is to create new products that meet future environmental requirements while being competitive. We are always open to new ideas, collaborators, and partnerships that can help us achieve this goal.
If you have suggestions for new opportunities within our focus areas, please do not hesitate to contact us.
OUR MISSION
At Bollerup Jensen, we use our technology platform and knowledge to develop and offer new sustainable solutions to our customers. We focus on solving environmental challenges with alternative solutions.

– do not apply for sales to private individuals.
These conditions apply unless other written agreements between the following sellers: Bollerup Jensen A/S (seller), CVR 12 51 68 00, Bollerup Jensen Retail A/S (seller), CVR 40 18 34 85, and Bollerup Jensen Adhesives ApS (seller), CVR 34 09 14 98 and business customers (buyer) are made, and are considered accepted upon approval of the offer (agreement).
Prices
All prices are excl. VAT and shipping, unless otherwise agreed.
Reservations are made for unannounced price increases and printing errors.
Packaging
For goods delivered in pallet tanks (IBC) or drums, a price is added for these according to the applicable agreement. Packaging is not returned, unless otherwise agreed. Insofar as the buyer has special requirements or wishes in connection with packaging and/or labelling, this must be communicated to the seller in writing before the conclusion of the agreement.
Payment
The full invoice amount must in all cases be paid and be in our hands on the due date specified on the invoice. If the purchase price is not paid on time, default interest is calculated for the due date at 1.5% per month of the remaining debt at any time.
The buyer is not entitled to set off or withhold part of the purchase price due to counterclaims, unless this is acknowledged in writing by the seller.
Property rights
The seller reserves the right of ownership to the delivered goods until payment has taken place with the addition of accrued interest and costs.
Return of goods
Goods are normally not returned, and only in cases with prior agreement. The conditions for a possible return will be determined individually by the seller. In case of return, the buyer is responsible for shipping, and possibly transport damage.
Delivery and delays
Delivery takes place from the seller’s address, regardless of whether the seller uses his own people or a third party, according to a separate agreement with the buyer, brings the sold to the buyer. Delivery to the buyer takes place at the buyer’s expense and risk.
Exceeding the delivery time by 5 working days due to the seller’s reservation is in all respects considered timely delivery, whereby the buyer cannot therefore exercise any rights against the seller. If a delay in delivery is due to the seller being prevented from delivering due to a labor dispute, fire, war, shortage of goods, employees, agents, or any other circumstance and all cases of force majeure, the delivery will be postponed for the time that the obstacle lasts. This applies regardless of whether the reason for the delay occurs before or after the end of the agreed delivery time.
The seller does not assume any responsibility or liability for damages in connection with consequences due to late delivery. However, both parties are entitled to cancel the agreement if the delay exceeds 2 months.
Deviations
Upon receipt of a delivery, the buyer must immediately check the goods from the seller.
If the buyer wants to complain about a defect, the buyer must immediately after the defect is or should have been discovered, notify the seller in writing and state what the defect consists of. If the buyer does not complain as stated, the buyer cannot later claim the defect. At the seller’s choice, defects in the item sold will be remedied or delivered at the seller’s expense within a reasonable time. If this does not happen, the buyer is entitled to cancel the agreement, demand a refusal of the purchase price or demand compensation. If the buyer has not claimed the defect to the seller within 3 months of the delivery date, the buyer cannot later assert the defect.
Limitations of liability
A compensation claim against the seller cannot exceed the invoice amount for the item sold.
The seller is not liable for loss of operation, loss of profit, as a result of delay or defects in the goods sold.
The seller must, without undue delay, notify the buyer in writing if force majeure and other circumstances occur over which the seller has no control.
For product liability, the rules applicable at all times in Danish law apply.
Choice of law and venue
The agreement is subject to Danish law. The court in Herning has been chosen as the court of first instance.
